Tourist Visa

Interviews for the South Korea tourist visa are not booked in advance. The consulate accepts applicants every Tuesday and Thursday, from 10:00 to 12:00. Before attending your interview, you must gather all required documents based on your travel purpose, complete the visa application, and briefly write out, in your own words, what you plan to visit in South Korea.

The visa decision is generally made within about 15 calendar days. You can check the decision online. To check the status, visit the website. Then select "check application status" and enter the requested details.

The South Korea tourist visa is a single-entry visa, issued for up to 90 days. You can choose the date from which your visa becomes active.

• An employment letter stating your position and salary (in English)
• Documents confirming financial means (credit card and bank account statement, minimum $3,000 USD)
• Visa fee

• Documents must be valid at the time of application and submitted no later than three months from their date of issue.
• Any documents submitted at the time of application will not be returned to the applicant, except for the passport.
• The applicant may be asked to submit additional documents.
• Be honest and accurate in your application and avoid providing false information.
• The visa's validity period is three months. This validity cannot be extended.
